Basic Biography
John Lawless (born September 20, 1987) is an American musician. He is best known as the drummer for the popular pop rock band the Jonas Brothers. He grew up in Middletown Township, New Jersey, part of Monmouth County. He is also popularly known as Flawless Lawless.

Career
From 2007 - 2008, Jack toured with the Jonas Brothers as their drummer. He and fellow band members Greg Garbowsky and John Taylor helped write and record music for the Brothers' third CD, A Little Bit Longer, released in August 2008. As of 2009, Jack continues to perform with the Jonas Brothers, appearing on Saturday Night Live, the American Music Awards, Kristi Yamaguchi's Concert and their House of Blues shows.

Music
Jack has performed with the Jonas Brothers since early 2007. He replaced their former drummer Alexander Noyes, who toured with the Jonas Brothers from 2005 - 2006 when they opened for Jesse McCartney, Backstreet Boys and the Veronicas. Alexander's new band Honor Society has become the Jonas Brothers' opening act of choice. Jack toured with the Jonas Brothers on all of their major 2007-2009 tours, appeared in their TV shows and films, and also made a few YouTube videos with them.

In 2008, Jack also contributed to Demi Lovato's debut album, Don't Forget.

The Jonas Brothers' band currently includes Ryan Liestman on keyboards, John Taylor on guitar, Greg Garbowsky on bass and Jack Lawless on drums.

This was Jack's first official tour with the Jonas Brothers.

Jonas Brothers Prom Tour
On June 25, 2007, the Jonas Brothers began their prom-themed tour, Jonas Brothers Prom Tour, in Lodi, NJ. It included over 100 shows, ending in October 15 in Columbia, South Carolina.

Best of Both Worlds Tour
From October 18, 2007 to January 9, 2008, Jack and the Jonas Brothers performed in the Miley Cyrus's Best of Both Worlds Tour and later in her 3D movie, Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert, released in theaters in February 2008. The tour started in St. Louis, Missouri, and ended in Albany, New York.

Look Me in the Eyes Tour
He completed the Look Me In The Eyes Tour starting on January 31, 2008 in Tucson, Arizona. The boys filmed a television show about the tour called "Jonas Brothers: Living The Dream" which featured Jack, Garbo, Ryan and John Taylor in one episode. During this tour, Jack performed a drum solo during "Burnin' Up." Big Rob would later take over this part of the song with his iconic rap.

Burning Up Tour
Jack performed during 2008 Burning Up Tour, promoting Jonas Brothers’ Camp Rock movie and 3rd studio album. Kicking off July 4, 2008 at Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, Ontario, the tour featured Jack and Nick tossing drum sticks to one another before the song "Burnin' Up." Jack subsequently appeared in the film Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience and played drums for its soundtrack.

Television
Jack has performed for many televised events, including Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, American Music Awards, the Disney Channel Games and Kristi Yamaguchi's Concert with the Jonas Brothers. Talk show appearances include The Ellen Degeneres Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Oprah. In February 2009, the Jonas Brothers played Video Girl and Tonight on Saturday Night Live - Jack drummed for Tonight.
